Today, we are all living with the outcomes of the 21st-century world. Overconsumption and a throwaway culture have led to a global waste crisis. While even complex rubbish is technically recyclable, most materials are not profitable to recycle. As a result, waste piles up in landfills and pollutes our planet while virgin materials are extracted from the earth to create new products.
Every year, some 2.4 billion pieces of sanitary waste end up in Malaysian landfills, taking anywhere from 500 to 800 years to decompose.
Conventional sanitary pads and tampons are made of 90% silicone and disinfected with chlorinated water. The popular period products offered in Malaysia are one of the primary contributors to pollution. It takes hundreds to thousands of years to fully disintegrate in dumps or the marine.
We know it’s not just about what is in the product but also what is not. So we provide a relevant, specific set of ingredients we choose to leave out. It is just another way for us to be transparent. Because; we know what matters to you and your family.
Of course, manufacturing products are complicated, and we cannot eliminate background contamination or cross-contamination. But know that we work hard with our manufacturers to control this. The Blackdime was born with a simple purpose; to create safe, effective products for our families and yours. We are on a mission to change the world, one product at a time.
We believe in educating women to choose the right feminine hygiene products. As a direct result of this, we introduce high-quality feminine hygiene products. We know you shouldn’t have to choose between what works and is better for you. That is why we make breakthrough discoveries in design and tests to perform.
We ensure all our products are cruelty-free and free of harsh chemicals, including chlorine, artificial fragrances, parabens, phthalates, and PEGs. Our products are science-based and proven performance based on consumer and clinical testing. We consciously developed our products with organic, natural ingredients, earth-friendly alternatives, and zero-waste solutions.
